08:30 am - Pudeto Pier. Departure at 9:00 am towards Paine Grande by Lago Pehoé.

09:30 am - Arrival to Paine Grande refuge. We begin our hike in a northwest direction, entering through the Cañón de los Vientos and ascending gradually, always along the slopes of Mount Paine Grande.

After 6.5 km, we reach enough altitude (275 mts approximately) to have an amazing view of Grey Lake and Grey Glacier tongue, only interrupted by the huge Nunatak (rock island in the middle of the ice mass). After 11.5 km and 4 hours of walking, we will arrive at the main and close viewpoint of the glacier which allows us to see the east arm of the ice mass, approximately 1 km on its west arm.
