09:30 am - Arrival to Paine Grande refuge. We begin our hike in a northwest direction, entering through the Cañón de los Vientos and ascending gradually, always along the slopes of Mount Paine Grande.

After 6.5 km, we reach enough altitude (275 mts approximately) to have an amazing view of Grey Lake and Grey Glacier tongue, only interrupted by the huge Nunatak (rock island in the middle of the ice mass).
