Wir haben aufgrund einer Planänderung spontan die Rundtour mit dem Van durch den Nationalpark gebucht. Highlight: Mr. Eduardo und Pacho (Francisco - The Guide). Viel Knowhow, tolle Stops, schöne Fotos - körperlich nach anstrengenden Tagen genau das Richtige für einen Tag.

We spent the day with Sebastian and Josefa (I hope I got the spelling right). The tour was spectacular and a lot of fun. The tour guides were courteous and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their surroundings. Must do hike if you enjoy short scenic hikes.

Hico el full day en Torres del Paine y, cuando pedí cambiar la fecha, lo hicieron sin ningún problema 🙏🏻.
El tour fue genial: estuvimos con Jaime, nuestro conductor, muy simpático, y con Daniel, nuestro guía, también muy amable y con explicaciones muy claras. Aprendí muchísimas cosas.
Yo era la única persona del grupo que hablaba español y Daniel tuvo la amabilidad de traducirme todo durante el día.
Quise hacer el trekking Base Torres con la misma agencia para el día siguiente al full day, pero no tenían disponibilidad. Aun así, me ayudaron a encontrar otra agencia para poder hacerlo.

Having been on ~20 tours over the last year as I’ve traveled around South America, I feel qualified to weigh in regarding organized tourist activities – and I’ve found that guides make a HUGE difference in the overall experience. I was lucky enough to stumble onto W Circuit Patagonia (their office in Puerto Natales was just around the corner from my Airbnb) and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for adventures in this area. The staff at the front office was incredibly helpful – patiently answering my questions and providing important guidance as to which offerings would best fit my needs. But our excursion guides (Tamara and Emilio) made our day truly memorable. The Trekking Miradores tour provided a great balance of hiking and spectacular views, along with interesting information about Torres del Paine and the surrounding area. Emilio did a great job of encouraging (but not pressuring) folks who didn’t want to hike as fast, ensuring they had a great experience as well. And Tamara was a true stand-out, perhaps the best guide I’ve had in all my travels. Her energy, positivity, knowledge, and outgoing nature made for a fantastic day for the entire group --- as she took the time to make individual connections with each participant while sharing pertinent information to the entire group. With a unique mix of humor and practicality, she did an outstanding job of making it a special day for each and every one of us. There are obviously dozens of agencies in Puerto Natales – but I’m also certain there are none better than W Circuit Patagonia. I give them my highest recommendation – and my heartfelt thanks for an amazing trek and a memory to last a lifetime!

We just did the three hike, all-day excursion with Alex and Josepha, who are both very friendly and knowledgeable about the park, flora, fauna, geology, and history of Torres del Paine. The van picked up and dropped off at our hotel. All the hikes were beautiful and very different. The winds on the first hike (the steepest) were the most intense so plan for that (e.g., baseball caps and sunglasses will fly away if not strapped down). It rained for the first bit - bring rain gear to be safe. We stopped for lunch by a lake looking out at the Torres. They will offer you a boxed lunch over WhatsApp (which was not advertised on the booking site).
Regarding fitness level - previous hiking experience is key, but only the first of the three hikes is challenging - it’s steep, hard on the knees coming down, a bit technical, and the wind adds a challenge. All three hikes are short, each taking about two hours round trip. If you are in decent shape you’ll be fine. I was exhausted by the end of the day but well worth it!!
