Taking a Horseback ride at Cerro Dorotea is a special way of getting to know the gorgeous scenery of Patagonia. In the natural environment of “gauchos” (skilled horsemen / countrymen of Patagonia) and accompanied by one of them, you will experience Patagonia in an authentic and different way.

This is a half day excursion that departs either in the morning or in the afternoon.

Itinerary

Itenerary

Pick up at your accommodation. After 15 minutes’ drive we will arrive at the foot of Cerro Dorotea (Dorotea Hill). Once there you will get a safety briefing, riding instructions and finally the equipment (gaiters and helmets).

We will ride up along the East side of Dorotea Hill, which forms part of the natural border between Argentina and Chile. Once on the top, our horses will take a rest in a native forest while we enjoy the views of Puerto Natales city, the Almirante Montt Gulf, Last Hope fjord, the Patagonian steppe and its beautiful surroundings.

Approximate time of arrival in Puerto Natales 3 hours later.

– La anulación de excursiones de un día se debe hacer con 24 horas de anticipación a la fecha solicitada, de no ser así se cobrará la reserva en un 100%.
